I have to confess that it was wierd seeing a monster truck in rural Sweden on my third day riding north from Stockholm, and even wierder to see it named the Big Swede, but there you have it. I just did a little reading up on the Big Swede. It's built from a 1989 Volvo, and it has a Ford 460 V8. That's a hell of an engine, folks. It's considered one of Europe's best monster trucks. The owner, Arne Linding, also has another truck that's called the Little Big Swede.
