SWEDEN (1ST TIME) + NORWAY + SWEDEN (2ND TIME)
Oh yes, that way. This giant hand breaking the water at night in one of Stockholm's rivers caused me to pause for a moment. I looked in the direction it was indicating and saw a full moon - which if you are reading this today you should see later this evening as well.

Yeah, it was a bit hard to update the site because I could not get USB access for the past two weeks. Going home sounds tempting, but then this trip would end up taking forever, so I think unfortunately I will have to pass up the down home Yultide cheer this time around.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! At the Njutanger Monster Truck Rally! Come watch the Big Swede smash and trash cars, jump through the flaming hoop of death, and do other things that monster trucks do. I have to confess that it was wierd seeing a monster truck in rural Sweden on my third day riding north from Stockholm, and even wierder to see it named the Big Swede, but there you have it. I just did a little reading up on the Big Swede. It's built from a 1989 Volvo, and it has a Ford 460 V8. That's a hell of an engine, folks. It's considered one of Europe's best monster trucks. The owner, Arne Linding, also has another truck that's called the Little Big Swede.
