Queens Half Marathon

Entered the Queens Half Marathon last weekend. The race took place around the scenic if somewhat hilly Flushing Bay. Some great views of the water and Whitestone bridge in between a lot of tough-ass hill climbing. The weather was great - cool, no wind and no rain.

I finished with a very respectable 1hr 38mins despite my disorganization (Couldnt find the race start!).

Funiest moment was after the race. We are all lined up to take the shuttle bus back to the subway. The first bus moves off and everyone turns to go over to the second bus. Someone in the crowd shouts, "Oi! No running!"

Next up? Looks like it might be this one.
